His story

MOBDIDTHAT is a Southern-born artist and producer built from real grind, not hype. Formerly known as Mob G, he made early noise opening for Blac Phoak during the Collard Greens & Gunpowder era and broke out with the street anthem “Poppin Chainz.” As a founding member of the Slaughta Boys, he helped move over 10,000 physical copies across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, earning regional respect through pure street circulation.

After real-life setbacks forced a pause, the music pulled him back. Linking with producer Nahkatik, MOBDIDTHAT returned independent with the underground project 1800 MUZIK, selling 7,000+ units hand-to-hand and another 8,000+ through standout records “Roll’n Up (Throw the Dough)” and “A Shot of 1800 MUZIK.”

Reintroduced as MOBDIDTHAT, he’s fully in his bag. His 2024 album Purple Sauce surpassed 350,000+ streams, with singles “RIGHT NOW,” “MOTION,” and “S.H.O.” continuing to climb organically. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just pain, hustle, and progression — living proof that pressure builds power.
